Her skills and knowledge enable her to achieve high effectiveness

Dorota Wróblewska has been with NAJ International since 1996. She works with international corporations and Polish family-owned businesses on searches for executive, managerial and highly specialised roles across different sectors and locations.

One of her strengths is identifying the real business need behind a recruitment brief. She brings together the scope of the role, the organisation’s context and culture, and the level of responsibility to define the experience and working style required. In in-depth interviews, she explores candidates’ achievements, motivation, approach to collaboration and readiness for a new challenge.

Dorota has been involved in business development throughout her consulting career and has built long-standing relationships with clients. Her broad network of contacts and referrals also supports searches for niche and hard-to-fill roles, including projects outside the largest labour markets.

In executive recruitment, it is worth leaving some room for surprise. Sometimes a candidate who looks less obvious on paper turns out, after a conversation, to be much closer to what the organisation actually needs.

Cover letter then and now after 35 years in headhunting

A cover letter in Poland has travelled a long way, from a handwritten document that could be sent to a graphologist to a short message often prepared with AI. It has not disappeared completely, but it has lost its former character. Then and now, it only makes sense when it adds something that the CV does not show.

Recruiting for the position of Plant Manager. Is it an easy or difficult task?

Plant Manager recruitment usually means much more than finding someone with experience in managing production. The plant location, the company’s expectations, compensation and a very long list of competencies can quickly challenge the picture of the ideal candidate.

Long Employment Considerations

Long job tenure can be a real advantage, but the number of years spent with one company tells us very little on its own. What matters much more is what the candidate did during that time, how they developed and whether they are ready to enter a completely new environment.
