Executive Candidate
Recruitment, insights and confidentiality

For an executive candidate, discretion, reliable information and clear rules of participation are essential. At NAJ International, we protect your data, communicate openly and ensure that you can make an informed decision about progressing to each stage of an executive recruitment process.

Confidentiality in recruitment and insights for candidates

In recruitment for senior management roles, discretion is critical. We explain how we protect candidates’ data and professional reputation, how to prepare for an interview with a recruiter and how to navigate the hidden job market with greater awareness.

View job offers and join our candidate database

We publish some of our projects, while confidential assignments are conducted without public job adverts. You can view current job opportunities for senior management professionals or submit your CV to our executive search candidate database. Being included in the database does not automatically result in a job opportunity, but it allows our consultants to consider your profile for projects that match your experience.

What does the executive search process look like from a candidate’s perspective?

Every assignment has its own structure, but the core principles remain the same. Before your profile is presented to an employer, you receive the available information about the role, discuss your experience and make an informed decision about whether to proceed to the next stages.

Initial Contact from a Consultant

We contact you when your experience matches the profile required for a specific assignment. At this stage, we share information about the role to the extent permitted by the confidential nature of the recruitment.

Discussion of Your Experience

We discuss your results, scope of responsibility, motivation, expectations and availability.

Your personal data and CV are shared with the client only after the project has been presented to you and you have given your explicit consent.

Next Stages and Feedback

We keep you informed about further meetings and decisions once we receive confirmed information from the employer.

Not every executive search opportunity is publicly advertised

Explore our current job opportunities or submit your CV to NAJ International’s candidate database. This allows us to contact you when we are working on a confidential search that matches your experience.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Candidates most often ask about confidentiality, interview preparation, how the database works and the timing of recruitment processes. Below, we explain the principles that apply to NAJ International assignments.

1

How can I get noticed by a recruiter and join your database?

The simplest way is to submit an up-to-date CV through our secure form. It is also worth maintaining a clear LinkedIn profile that presents your scope of responsibility, specialisation and measurable results. Our consultants regularly map the market and also approach candidates who are not actively looking for a new role.

2

Can my CV be shared with an employer without my consent?

No. Your personal data and full CV are not shared with a client until you have received the available information about the project and given your explicit consent. Detailed rules on personal data processing are set out in our Policy Privacy

3

How should I prepare for an interview with a recruiter?

An interview with us is a business dialogue. Focus on specifics: documented, measurable results (e.g., cost optimization, sales growth), managed budgets, and completed projects. Be prepared to discuss your working style, difficult decisions, failures, and your motivation for taking on new challenges.

4

How long does the process take, and when can I expect feedback?

A typical recruitment process for key positions takes 4 to 8 weeks. We fully respect your time and guarantee partner-like communication. However, please note that waiting times for feedback may naturally extend. This is most often due to the complexity of our Clients’ decision-making processes. Decisions at the executive level often involve multiple stakeholders, and the need to synchronize their calendars, internal meetings, or holidays affects the pace of the entire project. We assure you, however, that we keep our finger on the pulse and will always return to you with reliable feedback as soon as we receive a binding decision from the employer.

5

What does being included in the candidate database mean?

Submitting your CV allows our consultants to consider your profile for future assignments. It does not mean that you will be contacted about every recruitment project or guarantee that you will receive a job opportunity. We will contact you when the scope of a role matches your experience.

Have a question about a recruitment process?

Get in touch if you have questions about a specific recruitment process, joining our candidate database or how we handle your personal data. We’ll be happy to help and share any information we can at that stage of the process.
